Keeping Me Sane

Since I've been so burnt out with school & often life, its nice to have distractions that keep me sane and hopes up for the summer. I'm so ready for the heat and no school! I'll probably be working way to much, making that money. But at least it won't be school :)

Last night my ward had its closing social at Spring Haven Lodge which is way up Hobble Creek Canyon. The place is absolutely GORGEOUS! They have an indoor basketball/volleyball court with air hockey and fuse-ball. In another room there was an indoor play place (but made out of nice wood, not gross McDonald's plastic). The caterer made amazing food that I could not stop eating! I do love a free meal - especially the good stuff that I've been fed the last couple of nights. We got a good basketball game going once people showed up which was fun. I'm not a great basketball player myself, but it was a lot of fun running up & down the courts getting a little too sweaty. I love activities like this and getting to know people better.

Roommate Brooke - I'm sure its not very safe to take pictures while she's driving...Just had to get the moment of belting out to Adele & Jessie J

Room Roommate (share bedroom) Neoma

Anne and I are in the cool bangs club - after I played basketball so mine don't look so great

Roommate Shelby - waiting for volleyball rotation!

My days seem to be getting longer and longer at school even though I only go twice a week. But I am there from 8:30a to 745p. So tonight I skipped my last class (which I tend to do often, but still have an A) to go see the new and improved Dyer family at Timpanogas Hospital. Baby Rafael Dyer was born yesterday and he is so freaking cute! I haven't held a baby that small since Lucas was born so I LOVED the feeling! Keeps my passion of wanting to be an OBGYN alive and of course becoming a mother someday. He is just such a handsome little boy. Great work Lex and Andrew!

Instantly fell in love with the little guy!
