Joys of a Busy Life

Its been a few days since my last post so here is a small sum-up of my life:

I've gotten 2 jobs for the summer
1. Aquatics supervisor assistant at 7 Peaks
2. Lifeguard, WSI, and Aqua Aerobics Instructor at Provo Rec/Veterans Pool

I have one week left of classes, but I only go Tues & Thurs so that hardly counts.
Than a week of finals after that! The stress of grades hasn't quite hit me so hopefully my GPA will be good!

FHE this week was lots of fun. We colored easter eggs. To say the least, egg dying kits are way too hi-tec these days! We lived with simple primary color dye & white crayons.

Brooke couldn't make it because of a huge project she had so I had to include her once we got home.

I started teaching Aqua Aerobics yesterday. Class is at 5:30-6:30am! Good thing its only Mon, Wed, & Fri. And good thing I'm a morning person and have been getting up at 5am anyways to run with Shelby.

I also started interviewing lifeguard applicants for 7 Peaks yesterday. I got some pretty funny replies to questions and answers where I was just thinking "No, you shouldn't say that to an employer". But over-all it went well. Still have more to go though! We hire 100-120 lifeguards...good thing I'm not the only one interviewing! I'm really enjoying the management position and it's only been a week :)

Wednesday night was my roommate Lindsay's "wedding party". A couple other roommates and I met at her sisters apartment and just hung out and watched a movie. Pretty mellow, but I do like a girls night & chick flick. Our old roommate Kendra was also there, so it was fun to see her all married and grown up!

It's going to be a really busy summer, but I'm looking forward to getting it started once the semester. Here's what I'm most excited for:

1. Tan
2. Heat
3. Summer Clothes
4. Fun jobs
5. Making Money
6. No School

  1. WOW - all that already? I thought you weren't gonna teach aerobics for a few more weeks - and already interviewing lifeguard applicants at Seven Peaks - Holy . . . stuff!

    YOU'RE AWESOME!

Hey, just wanted to tell you some (what I think is, anyway) exciting news. I just found the Captain and Master Sergeant that I used to work with at the 7100 CSW Security Police Squadron at Lindsay Air Station, Wiesbaden, Germany, when you were born!!! The captain (as you may remember) hired me when I was 5 months pregnant with you and then had to let me go home (to the U.S.) when you were hospitalized. He holds a special place in my heart! Letting both of them know what a special kid you've grown to be.

    Love you!!!
