Friday, I spent all day studying for a Biology exam that I was incredibly stressed about. I'm usually pretty on top of my school work, but haven't been able to find any motivation the last couple weeks to want to read or study anything. Falling asleep in every class doesn't seem to help much either. I found enough energy to study for six hours in one day and spend two hours on my exam. Ended up with an 85% on the test! Not an A, but considering my procrastination and how burnt-out I am...I can't really complain. Plus based on how hard the exam was, I'm sure there will be some sort of curve which will give me a higher grade. Most of the students and tutors I've talked to didn't do very well, so good for me! :) I spent the rest of the night relaxing and having a Disney movie marathon with my roommate.
Saturday was the first day of the 181st General Conference. I really enjoy the counsel given by General Authorities of the church. Shelby and I made this amazing macaroni salad with lots of vegetables (which we love!) and a homemade dressing. It tasted so good and healthy without the regular mayonnaise that usual recipes consist of. That night, Shelby and I ran in the rain to Helaman Halls to play some volleyball with friends from our ward. Instead of walking around the building, we decided to go on adventure through a bunch of prickly bushes, while wearing shorts. Needless to say, we have plenty of scratches up and down our calves!

I have no talent in playing volleyball, but its always fun to be part of random pick up games. Plus it was in the rain and wasn't that cold! Which makes it even more fun :)
We walked home, curled up in some blankets and had a movie sleepover with Vanessa in the living room. The rest of our roommates are out of town for the weekend so its just been the three of us...plus boys that we've had over every now and then.
I'm pretty sure Utah is the only place that you can get a tan and frostbite all in one day. Yesterday I was outside wearing shorts, LOVING the 72 degree weather. This morning I woke up to this:

For General Conference this morning, Vanessa, Shelby and I decided to make homemade hash-browns and homemade cinnamon rolls. Oh my goodness! Breakfast was so gooooooood! Vanessa's fiancé and his roommate came over, as well as my friend Beau. Its nice to have a group to enjoy Conference with. Not to mention the delicious food!
man, those cinnamon rolls were sooooo good!!!
