I'm BAACKK!

I've recently been inspired by my 'basically sister-in-law' to get back into my blog, even though its been forever! Why not spend some time venting about my routine life once in a while?!

Since my last post which was probably a year or more ago when I was still going to college, A LOT has happened! Many feelings, events and everything I've learned lead me up to this point in life - somewhere I never imagined I would be.

The most important place for me to start is November 7, 2012. The date Brent Lee and I exclaimed ourselves as an exclusive couple. It's been the best decision of my life thus far. This man is AMAZING! With all of my exes, I would end things and dream of meeting someone who treated me with the same standards I saw my dad treat my mother while growing up. Not mention, his family has be so sweet about taking me in and making me feel like part of the family. I'm grateful for the whole heartedness that they have. I love him to death and 7 months later I can officially say with confidence, he is the only man I want to kiss for the rest of my life.

I landed (another) new job as a full time office receptionist, training to be office manager at Utah Diesel Center. Now that I've been here for 9 months, the unorganized training stress has been lifted and I quite enjoy my job. I'm grateful to work at a small family owned shop where the owners have proven how genuine they are towards customers and employees alike. The customers make my day almost everyday as I get to know the regulars more and more. They're all becoming my 'diesel family' and I love it!

Brent and I recently experienced the biggest hardship of life, a miscarriage of our first pregnancy. In only a month, I became a completely different woman with a completely different outlook on life and my purpose here. Now, I can't wait to be a mom. For anyone who has known me, this is a HUGE deal! It's all I think about, everyday...pretty much all day.

Right now, Brent and I are in the works to move to beautiful Washington State where my father and his family live. We'd like to stay close to Seattle and the same area my dad lives now. We're VERY excited to get out of Utah, Brent especially. Its time for the next best thing and hopefully starting a family. (Including marriage eventually, but he needs my dad's permission for that ;)

I've had a rough year emotionally and sometimes physically. I blame most of it on the long dreadful winter that wasn't very enjoyable without any snowboarding. But now the sun is shining, its warm outside and I haven't got much to complain about!

That's it for today, let's hope I keep up with my online journal <3

  1. I'm so glad that you're part of the family now. It's awesome to see you and Brent so happy. When I'm around you there is no denying the love that you guys have. You've been through such a rough time lately and it has only made you guys stronger. I can't wait to see what comes of the future!
