I was able to spend some much needed time with my amazing cousin Janeen and her little girl. I loved being able to visit with her and get to know each other better, since after all - we are family. She's an incredible woman and even better mother!
With only a month left of the semester, I am feeling very burnt out with classes! I spend 20-30 hours a week just studying Biology and while I know its paying off (an A in the class proves it) I'm still to the point where I feel done and careless! I don't want all my hard work to go waste when I'm almost done. Finding that motivation to keep going is slowly diminishing. I've fallen asleep in the last 3 BIO classes. A chapter that generally takes me a day to read is taking me a week and a half...I'm still not finished! 90% on my quiz Friday gave me a little boost - Let's hope I can do the same for my test that should be later this week. Its a good thing my other classes aren't too demanding otherwise I'm not sure how alive I'd be right now. Working out at 5am every morning with my roommate has been contributing to my sanity. My day never seems to go well without a run to start it off nowadays. I like to think that's a good thing! I CAN DO THIS! Then it'll be summer...FINALLY!
3 of my roommates and I decided to make a quadruple date for the weekend. Friday night, we had everyone over to make t-shirts for Saturday, when we went to the Festival of Colors! It was so much fun & we had a great time getting dirty and colorful. There were so many people. It was great to see everyone so friendly and just there to have a good time. I'm glad I got to go with such an awesome group. My roommates are my favorite!
Roommates Left-Right: Shelby, Brooke, Vanessa, Me
The Group: Vanessa, Brooke, Nathan, Aaron, Shelby, Brandon, Breanna, Me, Marty
Marty and I
Marty's awesome batman and my awesome star!
My roommate Shelby and I got to go to Aunt Candy & Uncle Phil's house for dinner tonight. I love spending time with family and having them around. They give so much support and help build me up to continue doing the things that I am. I love seeing Aunt Mary & Tannis also! They need to come around here more often. Its sometimes hard to realize how much you miss people until you see them. There is so much joy I find in being with my family and I'm so grateful that I have such a big one! Life would not be the same without any of them!
I need to try to get sleepy now, gotta get up in 5.5 hours for a run and swim! Can't wait to meet new baby Dyer. Pray all labor goes well and swiftly so we can have a healthy baby boy in the world! Love you Lex and Andrew - you're going to be spectacular parents XO
I love you Bryanna! GREAT POST!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. Jake went with his friends and has a great time. He can't seem to get all the pink out of his ears. Keep up the good work with school. You are almost done! Are you staying here for the summer?
ReplyDeleteBrooke - I love you more!
ReplyDeleteMarcie - My ears are still a bit pink also. I'm glad Jake got to go! Its definitely an experience. Yes I'll be here for the summer. I'm permanently living in Utah so I'll just be working & having fun, than school again in August.
